Little things I have learned over the years. A.K.A. Blond moments!

These are things I have learned over the years that I can look back at and laugh at myself for having done them.  You can blame them on being blond, the fact that I am a bit spacey at times, or maybe you have another reason.  But either way they make me smile.

Cooking
1.  You can't freeze Jello to make it Jello faster, if you do you will have a permeant Jello soup (no matter how long you wait for it to turn to Jello).
2.  You can burn rice crispy treats.  When making rice crispy treats you should never add the cereal to the marshmallow and butter mix until it is completely melted and off of the stove.  If you do choose to add it before the mixture is melted and off the stove, you will burn the rice crispy treats.
3.  Frosting dose not hide the taste of burnt rice crispy treats.
4.  You must wait over night for an ice cream cake to re-freeze, otherwise you will have ice cream all over your counter.
5.  If you don't add enough flour to brownies they will be soupy no matter how long you cook them.

Life
1.  The speedy rewards card is not how you pay for gas, you must go inside or pay with a credit card.
2.  It only take a minute or two after driving off, for the gas station to begin reviewing security tapes to get your license plate number (Luckily I realized quickly after talking with Justin, that I had not paid.  So I returned, and explained I thought I had paid and then actually paid the cashier who laughed at me).
3.  Just because you have an obviously girl name, does not mean that selective service will believe you are a girl who should not be registered for the draft.  They expect proof by birth certificate and Id.
4.  If you are scared of spiders you can run over two trees quickly with a riding lawn mower.  The first because of the spider the second, because you are looking back to see what happened to the first tree.
5.  When baby spiders hatch, millions of little dots on webs will drop out of the tree.  If you jump off of the riding lawn mower to get away from these millions of spiders, the mower will most likely stop on its own.
6.  You can break your windshield with the rubber mount on your GPS.

I am sure that there are many other things I have learned, but these are the most recent or major ones that stick out in my mind.  A few of these I remembered learning in high-school and have not since repeated the same mistake!!! :)  At least I have learned from these mistakes.
